Having finished second in his first race this year at Chepstow in September, Astromachia went one better last night to win the ’32Red.com Handicap’ at Kempton.  Ridden by Joe Fanning, he made quick headway to lead from six furlongs out, asserted inside the final two furlongs and was ridden out in the final furlong to win comfortably.

Having finished a close second at Yarmouth last week, Dutch Story got his head in front to win the ‘Peter Dunnett 21 Year Memorial Handicap’ at the same track today! Ridden by Martin Dwyer, Dutch Story took the lead four furlongs out and went on to win convincingly from Confrerie by eight lengths. We are delighted for owner breeders Bob and Pauline Scott and co-owners David and Lori Bevan. Well done to Eric Keane who looks after Dutch Story at home.

We are delighted that Manucci won at Bath today for owners John Connolly and Odile Griffith. Stepping up in trip on his handicap debut, he won the ‘Silvestre De Sousa’s Exclusive Blog starsportsbet.co.uk Handicap’ under Martin Dwyer.  He handled the testing ground and took command of the race two furlongs out to stay on well in the final furlong to win well.  Well done to Eric Keane who looks after him.

A long journey proved worthwhile when Aegeus won the ‘Cronnie Creative Median Auction Maiden Stakes’ at Newcastle last night.  Ridden by Graham Lee, he took the lead over one furlong out, was hard pressed inside the final furlong by Ravenscar but kept on well to win by a head.

There were lots of top class pedigrees on show at Tattersalls Book 1 Yearling Sale this week and we were delighted to come away with this beautiful Oasis Dream filly to train. We are looking forward to Book 2 starting on Monday and also the horses-in-training sale at the end of the month. We are delighted that Tinto won at Ascot this afternoon for owners Derek James, Steve Jenkins and Michael Quigley. Having won a Class 3 Handicap last time out at Yarmouth he stepped up in grade today to run in the Class 2 ‘Original Harrogate Water Handicap.’

Diamond Falls made his racecourse debut on Tuesday 1st October at Kempton and finished third in the Novice Auction Stakes under Kieran Shoemark. We are delighted with how he ran, he made progress from two furlongs out and ran on well inside the final furlong up through horses to take third in the last strides of the race.
