Coombelands Equestrian update
We would look forward to welcoming you to use our wonderful equestrian facilities at Coombelands in Pulborough, West Sussex in 2022.
Since we took over Coombelands Equestrian at the end of last year, we have been busy gaining information from many of you on how we can improve our already extensive facilities here and we are pleased to inform you that work is underway.
Charles Britton, Luke and John have been busy in the main arena upgrading both our irrigation system and surface to sand and white fibre. We have the SEEL final here at the end of the month and our first BS show on 3rd March. We are holding two POYS warm ups including 1.25 classes on 27th March and 2nd April. All shows until the end of April are open for entries on our website.
Geoff Budd has been improving our parking facilities, please may we ask you to preserve this by picking up your horses dropping and either taking them back with you or placing them in the buckets provided for us to remove them.
Out on the cross country course, over 200 sheep have been busy treading in the ground and giving the grass a good haircut. Ditches and drop fences have been finished and re surfaced and the schooling facilities will be ready to use weather permitting in March with a new course layout.
The all weather gallops are riding really well and please do book to use them, not only do they provide an enjoyable, safe environment for you and your family to ride in but also an excellent fitness workout for both horse and rider.
The swimming pool is also available for hire at the main Coombelands complex. This is suitable for BS, BE , BD and racehorses who are registered and fully vaccinated.

We are currently upgrading our Coombelands estate website to include the equestrian business, so please either book your hire sessions or event entries on www.coombelands-equestrian.co.uk or www.amandaperrett.com where there is an equestrian heading already. On this site you will see a video of all our facilities. Entries are open for all our shows until the end of April.
If you want to promote your brand or business and are interested in sponsorship at Coombelands, we will be offering the opportunity to sponsor our three arenas, banners around the arenas and entrance to Coombelands and sponsored fences either on an event day or your own branded jump which we can organise to have made for you.
