Coombelands’ Winter League Finals
Coombelands’ Equestrian is excited to welcome everyone to our first-ever three-day Show. Starting on 2nd—4th April, we are opening our doors for our Winter League Finals, which will conclude our League, which runs throughout February and March. To recap on our rules, read on!
To compete in our Winter League Championship, your horse must compete throughout our qualifying dates in February and March and either one of the first two days of our three-day Show. The top 5 horses in the British Novice, Discovery & Newcomers – including the open sections at Coombelands – will be awarded points towards the Championship Final on April 4th. The top 10 horses competing in the Foxhunter & 1.30m classes will also be awarded points towards the Championship on April 4th.
Horses can also be awarded double points on April 4th. The winner of the Points League must compete in the Grand Prix at the Championships; non-attendance will result in prizes being passed down the line to those in attendance.
For the Winter Championship show, which runs from 2nd—4th April, horses must jump in the qualifier on either the 2nd or 3rd of April to qualify to jump in the Grand Prix on April 4th. The first four classes will be run as A7 unless we have more than 30 entries, in which case, this will be run as a two-phase. Our 1.30m class will be run as an A4 and 1.40m as an A10. Those jumping in the 1.40M Grand Prix do not have to qualify for this class.
Rules for the final day
British Novice—Foxhunter: If there are fewer than 30 entries on the date, the class will run as an A7. If there are more than 30 entries, it will run in two phases.
